They remained about 15 minutes, but not after tough man Sgt. Winters rolled his eyes like a little teenage girl. His attitude was pure unnecessary rudeness. He said, by the way we removed your firearms – we’ll give them back once you’re released from the hospital. Sgt. Winters LIED to me. Chief James Bensley also lied – never kept his word to me.

Sgt Winters – the “man” in charge. Proceeded with a line of goofy questions:
* They asked about my sex life.
Asked me about my firearms and my GLOCK. ( I think Sgt Winters has a secret crush on my 40 caliber Glock.)
* They asked about my use of alcohol.
* They asked about gold receipts.
* They were very curious about me having cash in my home as if it was “illegal” to have cash in my possession.
* Bla-bla-bla-bla

The so-called head investigator (a man probably in his 50s) was actually rolling his eyes at me like a young sarcastic teenage girl. This was the actions of a grown man with authority!!

These two police officers asked very non-sense questions – they never asked me who I thought could have shot me. They never asked if I had any enemies. Why?

They admitted they removed all my firearms including my long guns of which several were heirlooms from my father. They confiscated them along with other personal items and PROMISED to return them once I was released from the hospital.

Where’s my Firearms?
When I was released from the hospital – I went to the police station to collect the firearms and other items the police removed from my home. All together – 26 personal items. The only two items they released were my cell phone and my cash. They kept and would not release the other 24 personal items.

The police requested that I obtain affidavits with notary for a complete background check and I also had to provide proof of ownership. I did ALL of this and MORE.

After a few weeks – I passed the background check with flying colors. However, the Police still would NOT release my 24 personal items. The police have behind their walls – over $2,000.00 worth of my valuable personal items. (Their excuse was … the case is still under investigation.)

Days and weeks after this, the Police treated me very rudely as if I was the criminal. They were very sarcastic as IF they had already made a judgment.

From what I understand, the Police interviewed nothing but KNOWN liars with psychological disorders about my own character. One of the persons – lied to a bank officer about bank loan and has a history of infidelity. Tammy Sweeden is an obvious liar with a shady background – she takes bi-polar medication for depression. Another person has a felony conviction, an alcoholic with a history of mental disorders. If the Police took the word of these THREE people – then would the Police be considered incompetent? You decide.

The Police never granted “ME” a quality extensive interview. Is this NOT how you collect FACTS? They practically ignored me. Finally, I decided to do something. I complained to several elected officials about the treatment of my case by the Garden City Police Department.

Finally, they were nearly forced to give me an interview. However, IT WAS A JOKE. They sent another police officer who admitted he knew nothing of the case – said he never read the police report. He asked the same exact questions that were asked four months earlier in my hospital room. So, they through me a BONE to keep me from complaining any more. It was ridiculous.

UPDATE: It’s been nearly 2 years. The Garden City Police still have not released my personal items. I’m instructed to never contact the Garden City Police Department or their employees by phone or email. Chief James Bensley demands that me, the victim, can only contact the department by “Mail”!!!!

Several residents and business owners of Garden City have told me NOT to trust the Garden City Police Department. They ALL said, over the years, there has been many suspicions of corruption and misconduct within the department.

Is this True? You decide.

Police corruption is more and more frequent within towns and cities all over the nation. We must stand together against any type of tyranny. Millions of people are confident that we have been and are NOW living in a police state. The Police are suppose to protect and serve innocent people in need – not kill or rob us.

This is what I fee like – Imagine this if you will.
The Police notice a young girl who has obviously been beaten, kicked and RAPED in a dark alley. The poor defenseless girl is sobbing and curled up in a fetal position. The police walk over to the poor sobbing girl. Two officers hand cuff her and hold her down. The other officers take turns RAPPING the young girl again, again and again. After the Police are done with their dirty deed and had their fun, the Police officers walk down the dark alley “high fiving” each other and laugh like chuckling hyenas.

Where are the decent Police officers and departments we once knew? Does the constitution, our Bill of Rights or the simple “rights” God gave us exist any more? Are these the type of men and women YOU want to protect and serve you in your town and city. YOU DECIDE.
