Predator vs. Prey – Story 101

People write to me all the time. I invite people who’ve been a victim by a predator to write to me and share their story.  Here is a story sent to me by a “reader” and I hope this experience will give you additional insight into different types of PREDATORS.

REMEMBER THIS – People are not fooled by Evil – they are fooled by Evil disguised as GOOD!

My name is Scott.  I read your book, “A Devil in Disguise”.  It was a great read and I learned a lot.

Let me share my story – my experience happened before I read your book.

First, I’m an attorney and I wear well fitting suits.  It’s part of who I am.  I’m a single man and I attend a very relaxed church in my area.

I met a woman  at this church. She was sweet and very attractive.  She was a very classy lady.   She wore nice jewlery and was well spoken. After church, we had coffee together and talked about the little things in life.

The following Sunday we met at church and we had coffee together again.  The more I saw her and talked with her the more I liked her.  She said she was a caregiver for a a wealthy elderly woman and lived at the lady’s house. She said, Sunday’s are mine to do as I wish.

The next Sunday, we met again at the church and she suggested instead of having coffee, we go to the grocery store and she would cook us a delicious Sunday dinner at my house and maybe watch a movie.  I said, that is a great idea.

While she was cooking and preparing our Sunday dinner, I spent my time watching and talking with her and listening to music.  The dinner was delicious – we also had a glass of wine.  That’s all I remember.  I woke up hours later with my head laying on the dining room table.  She drugged me.

All my credit cards were gone, my phone was gone, my cash in my dressor drawer was gone, all of my jewlry (rolex watch), gold/diamond rings, and 30 gold coins disappeared.  Before I could cancell my credit cards, she had already charged over $3,000.   All  total – about $125,000. We never traded phone numbers. All I had was her first name.  Needless to say, she never attended my church again and I never saw her again.

There are many things you do not learn in lawschool.  I assume some things we must learn from each other and by experience. What started out as an innocent evening turned into a total nightmare. I hope someone gained something from my experience.

She is absolutely “A Devil in Disguise!”

take care,
Scott
